People often believe that only those who are conventionally beautiful can participate in pageants, but that isn’t true at all. While external appearance does matter, inner beauty is equally important—qualities like confidence, outlook, determination, and the passion to achieve something. This realization came to me when I took part in a pageant and won the title,” said Geetanjali, the winner of Forever Miss Teen Chandigarh 2025.
Sixteen-year-old Geetanjali, a commerce student from Sector 43, shared her journey after returning from the pageant held in Udaipur. She said that she had dreamed of being part of a pageant since childhood. After coming across a post on social media, she filled out the registration form without informing anyone. She successfully cleared the initial rounds, the state-level round, and advanced to the national finals, where 101 contestants competed. Each finalist reflected the essence of modern Indian womanhood. Geetanjali secured a place in the top three and ultimately emerged as the winner.
New opportunities after Miss India
Talking about her interests, Geetanjali said she enjoys music, dance, and sports. She has won inter-school badminton tournaments four times and is a green belt holder in taekwondo as well as a state-level player. Modeling has now become an important part of her life, and she plans to grow in this field. She considers this just the beginning and intends to continue preparing while focusing on her studies. Her immediate goals include participating in Miss India, Femina India, and Diva India, which she believes will open doors for bigger opportunities and eventually lead her to Miss World. She is clear about her career path and plans to make the most of every opportunity that comes her way.
When asked about entering the fashion world at a young age and what she learned from it, she explained that she has been involved in fashion for the past two years and is now moving toward modeling. Fashion, she said, helps develop a strong sense of style, while knowledge enhances performance. In modeling, the way you walk and present yourself is crucial, as confidence on the ramp makes a big difference. During the pageant, she received mentorship from renowned choreographer and fashion show director Shay Lobo, who guided the contestants on their walk and taught them about S and D poses.
