Chandigarh-based actor Pranav Vashisht is set to appear in the upcoming war thriller Border 2, where he plays Lieutenant Ajit Singh alongside Sunny Deol. For Pranav, joining the iconic franchise marks a dream come true.
Pranav describes his experience on set as a film school on a battlefield and credits director Anurag Singh for pushing him to deliver his best despite limited preparation time.. He says it was an experience, to share the screen space with Sunny Deol, and a memorable one.
He started as an actor in theatre with the Abhinet Theatre Group and has performed in such works and projects as Jersey, and many Punjabi short films and web series. In 2022, he was the winner of Best Actor, short film Live Camp.
Pranav is a qualified engineer who abandoned a career in the corporate world to follow acting, which ultimately gained serious approval in the family. For him, success is simple—performing well and earning audience appreciation.
Pranav Vashisht makes a big leap with Border 2 and it promises to be a positive new beginning in his acting career.
